The government knows that marijuana is good for some sects
of society. Those are hardworking everyday people.Criminals
are people of a different type of mindset.Their mindset is
inherent from the get go.STUPIDITY!!!
Step 1.Legalize Marijuana.
Step 2.If caught using any other substance such as crack, meth,
or other detrimental drugs in society that are illegal let the person
be charged with those crimes with harsh penalties and on to Step 3.
Step 3.The criminal now no longer has the great privilege to
use marijuana legally.

How many very willing, capable, motivated people are unemployed at this time & suffering, many of them are not able to pass tests because they occasionally smoke pot because they know it is not going to ruin their lives like the other crap out there.
The disadvantage is that pot stays in your system a long time. These ARE normal, hardworking, motivated, people who show up responsible & straight at their jobs without hangovers or attitudes. They have to go to work in danger from the people with hangovers, half asleep, on drugs, but because they are legal things or don't register in tests it's ok-yeh right! Try working in construction or a manufacturing plant with someone that does those other things -see how safe you feel with that crane over your head & that guy didn't get in till 4 & had to go to work at 5!!!

Legalize, decriminalize & quit the crap people- realize that jails & prisons are full of people with pot offenses- they are usually working, stable people (somebodies sons & daughters)until they get caught. Most just do it to make extra money & they are not threats to society. It is not the same drug class as alcohol, heroin, crack, pills etc...How much does this misinterpretation cost us as citizens every year??? What is the point?
We are a country in crisis & we should realize the cost of this!
Tax it & legalize it!! We would do away with organized crime associated with major growing operations. Look at other countries as an example. Their crime rate is nil compared to ours.
The positive effects far outweigh the negative effects that only occur with long term abuse -as with any other substance. Some smoke way too much, like people that smoke blunts all at one time-hello, whatever happened to a great tasting plain joint?
This is a natural thing, not synthetic. It is a wonderful herb for it's natural unprocessed abilities. Alcohol & other drugs are not natural & very processed, but some are of those are legal & they cause so much damage it has no boundaries. Why don't we make alcohol etc.... illegal & stop producing cigarettes & legalize some natural substance that actually has many beneficial properties. Hypocritical BS! Stop the commercials of hypocrisy.
BTW,
How can you tell people not to smoke deadly cigarettes, but still legally sell them for profit?BS FOLKS!
